i getting error after self boot sequence when after x minutes system auto boots highlighted option in case mint 7 after screen error comes random numbers , letters stuck?? else had on ubuntu?

the random numbers uuid of partition system trying boot, perhaps incorrect. if needed boot live cd , run in terminal command

sudo blkid
, try mount ubuntu hard disk partition , check either /boot/grub/menu.lst file or /boot/grub/grub.cfg file, both of should show partition uuids, , allow check numbers same in blkid, , same showing when screen freezes @ boot.

have had similar situation on ubuntu 9.04 (the same mint 7) @ boot machine shows grub, uuid of partition , says "starting up" goes no further. when boot show "loading, please wait" after , well. if mine freezes @ point, reset button seems running ok next time. other forums have suggested disable fast boot in bios , let system long check of ram, 2gb takes long time, have set grub timeout longet usual 3 secs see if helps. suggesting may power supply problem, or disk being slow spin up.

i'll keep looking , wait see find.

Indesign and MathType fonts

i having trouble getting indesign recognize mathtype fonts.  have been told move mathtype fonts on 2 indesign font folder.  copied mt-extra font file mathtype folder , pasted indesign font folder.  nothing changed.  indesign still gives me blank box after copy mt-extra font mathtype -->illustrator-->indesign.   guess need instructions on how transfer of fonts done correctly.  i'v looked @ install fonts manual indesign, not clear me on how it.  need utility fontexplorer this, or there other way.  what's weird working fine until had reinstall osx , reinstall cs3, font trouble started.  need toggle "activate-reactivate' adobe cs3 , don't know how close 20 max on this, worried that.  (i suspect because of note on forum might necessary).  thoughts appreciated. i'm using windows, advice may worth nothing...   1) shouldn't have deactivate id recognize fonts. 2) design science gives fonts away in type 1 , truetype flavors....
