[distance 2D][0.4m - 20m][air/water][technology choice?]
hi guys,
i building robot m stuck when calculating distance between arduino , beacon attach on something, distance between beacon , arduino can goes 0.4 meters 20 meters let s 0.40 meters error accceptable accuracy need.
my issue not capable find orientation part of robot due fact can underwater or not:
ble seems not accurate due field of application.
knowing aldready use 433mhz network send other data arduino elsewhere on ground.
do guys have clue of technology should use solve problem?

you need different technologies air versus water.
for air, laser distance sensors lidar-lite work -- 40 meters or more range +/- 2.5 cm accuracy.
for water, sonar works well.
