Order of pix changes when I burn a LR slideshow to CD. How do I prevent this?
i use slideshow feature of lightroom prepare presentations of travel slides. work images have shot on canon 5d. arrange pix in order makes sense presentation (for example, maybe i'm grouping portraits, showing street scens), keep frame number part of file name, example _mg4962 great wall. result slide show contains lots of pix out of numerical order, i.e. might in orer 4967, 4952, 4989, 4983, 4701, etc. slide show arranged , looks great run thru on lightroom. however, when burn cd or dvd, lightroom rearranges slides numerical order frame number, undoing careful labelling , moving around did. title shot might end in middle of show , last shot first! i've tried burning slide shows using roxio's cd burner software , same problem occurs. how solve it? there setting in lightroom override arrange-by-numerical-order default setting? if so, how find , activate setting? drives me crazy have manually renumber each fraame in show before burning cd (for example, adding prefix 01, 02, 03, etc). why important me burn cd? because go client'w office or friend's house present show. want able pop cd in computer or player , know play created in lightroom.
first thing comes mind why don't rename files?
when i'm working images inside lr, rename them, names _img2034 make no sense batch rename them inside lr.
if rename them f.ex. trip_01, trip_02, trip_03 etc.. should work fine when burn them.
