Administrator URL is redirected - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi folks, have been working on joomla sites while has started happening not sure how fix.

when type in http://www.mysite.com/administrator/, page automatically redirects http://mysite.com/administrator/, though have set live site url http://www.mysite in config file. ( in other words added "www" live site address in config file when set account using fantastico www not there. set new joomla site!)

i don’t understand why happens of sites, not others? in of older sites have set (although date joomla versions!) when type in e.g. http://www.mysite.com/administrator/ , hit enter, page loads indeed still called http://www.mysite.com/administrator/

could have transferring joomla 1 account another? in both cases can think of have problem, sites set on test server, moved them (correctly think!) current position.

i know there work around either change .haccess file or add code index.php , index2.php pages, thought there might more straightforward solution?

any ideas?

clear stored url's in browser , check .htaccess file , ensure don't have redirect in file.

Indesign and MathType fonts

i having trouble getting indesign recognize mathtype fonts.  have been told move mathtype fonts on 2 indesign font folder.  copied mt-extra font file mathtype folder , pasted indesign font folder.  nothing changed.  indesign still gives me blank box after copy mt-extra font mathtype -->illustrator-->indesign.   guess need instructions on how transfer of fonts done correctly.  i'v looked @ install fonts manual indesign, not clear me on how it.  need utility fontexplorer this, or there other way.  what's weird working fine until had reinstall osx , reinstall cs3, font trouble started.  need toggle "activate-reactivate' adobe cs3 , don't know how close 20 max on this, worried that.  (i suspect because of note on forum might necessary).  thoughts appreciated. i'm using windows, advice may worth nothing...   1) shouldn't have deactivate id recognize fonts. 2) design science gives fonts away in type 1 , truetype flavors....
