Thread: logical root partition
i wondering if make logical / partitions if have primary /boot partition. potential way around having 4 bootable operating systems on single hd?
i've found having separate /boot partition creates more problems might solve. can read bit here:

so, unless fall old bios category there no need.
far using extended partitions create many logical partitions here's mine:

they're labeled can see have. real reason created second primary 1 of *buntu's because plan on dumping win partition , grub happier if disc begins primary partition.
you'll notice 5 *buntu's have own separate /home share 1 swap.
