has gotten around can't see sata drive problem nvidia 8200 chipset?

on main rig it's xfx geforce 8200 940 amd motherboard.
model mi-a78s-8209.

great.

having same issue here same board, looks sata chipset not detected, have ubuntu studio 9.10 installed.
