Thread: New Karmic install RAID 1 not working right


hello all.. installed karmic(64 bit) cd, installed raid 1. after first reboot, complained 1 disk bad. booted fine... cannot tell disk is?

it's simple install on / , 2 disks each 160 gig sda1 , sdb1 on karmic, raid info different rather see... (on server)

md0 : active raid1 sdb1[1] sda1[0]

heck? how tell disk? read somewhere raid name dm-1 alias else?

mdadm -d gives me

how tell disk died? , how tell mdadm rebuild after replace...?

guess unplug 1 of disks, if boots unplugged bad one?

if cat /proc/partitions showing partitions both drives, or one?
