Rogue Servo


an unusual issue this, controlling speed on continuous rotation servos myservo.write(val) command. if val=90, no rotation. if val 0-89 or 91-180 increasing speeds in alternate directions respectively.

'twas working superbly 1 minute, , servo continues rotate in same direction regardless (and did literally, literally(!) nothing it).

even direct myservo.write(90) command should obey , not rotate continues rotate.

any ideas?

it sounds connection servo's internal position feedback potentiometer broken.

try different servo.
