need help using an H Bridge driver with a rc reciever

hi all
first of have basic understanding of arduino changing code on 3d printer. have arduino uno , h bride driver.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/l298p-shield-r3-dc-motor-driver-module-2a-h-bridge-2-way-for-arduino-uno-2560-nw-/161276647674?hash=item258cd658fa:g:nkmaaoswuzrxdemm

i want take h bride driver , arduino uno , use run 2 dc motors rc tank. have been using sabertooth motor driver working great until gave out reason. need take pwm signal receiver , pump uno send out signal motors. since using on tank ideally mix signal in order run tank if complicated or not possible fine. can use controller allows me mix in controller itself.
can tell me how code or if has code or willing me awesome!
thanks!

rc, tank? kind? roommate , designed , built 3d printed rc panzer iv f2. did modeling/printing , did electronics. link

the link has pics, vid, bom, , code if interested (no schematic, though - still working on it).

others might have better idea me, send pwm receiver , feed lowpass filter, buffer lowpass filter's output , send buffered signal 1 of arduino analog inputs. on other hand, can use these methods.

as using h-bridge, @ this website/video.

also, why not replace sabertooth?
