Thread: Where to edit grub settings

hi folks,

i'm using karmic netbook remix on usb drive dual boot fujitsu m2010 (works great right out of box!) i've
installed karmic on other pc's, on netbook want have ubuntu plug in option rather installing hdd, , edit grub settings on usb drive boots directly rather going through "what language" , "which boot options" screens first.

went edit file in /boot/grub directory wasn't there... find this, , there special need know edit it?

basically, want load ubuntu automatically if usb plugged in, , load standard os if isn't - don't need or want traditional dual boot menus, , bios takes care of choosing drive, figure should simple if can find boot options settings netbook remix somewhere...

in anticipation.

does 9.10 nbr use grub? please, boot manager used on re-mix? grub have experience of, grub config file isn't there presume it's not being used.

have tried searching info, nothing coming up...

Indesign and MathType fonts

i having trouble getting indesign recognize mathtype fonts.  have been told move mathtype fonts on 2 indesign font folder.  copied mt-extra font file mathtype folder , pasted indesign font folder.  nothing changed.  indesign still gives me blank box after copy mt-extra font mathtype -->illustrator-->indesign.   guess need instructions on how transfer of fonts done correctly.  i'v looked @ install fonts manual indesign, not clear me on how it.  need utility fontexplorer this, or there other way.  what's weird working fine until had reinstall osx , reinstall cs3, font trouble started.  need toggle "activate-reactivate' adobe cs3 , don't know how close 20 max on this, worried that.  (i suspect because of note on forum might necessary).  thoughts appreciated. i'm using windows, advice may worth nothing...   1) shouldn't have deactivate id recognize fonts. 2) design science gives fonts away in type 1 , truetype flavors....
