Thread: Virus Alert "Surprise.exe"

recently email address has sent file "surprise.exe" contacts. i'm running ubuntu 9.10 , haven't quite figured out how did it, or got in. did not send message in contacts received it. evolution window running (open) there no similar sent message in sent outbox, must have came server somehow. checked hotmail on server, , in outbox folder, i've narrowed down hotmail server. have not given password anybody, nobody else in home. i'm wondering if there kind of either hotmail leak in security or if it's ubuntu has security link. thing have done different machine install virtual machine (virtualbox) has xp , windows 7, virtual machines don't have network access, use testing purposes only. happened today 01/26/2010.
since this, have changed hotmail password. make switch gmail permanently hotmail server security breech. after doing research seems 1 of highly infected viruses date. feel sorry windows users in contact list. 99% of contacts use windows , sent @ least 150-200 people.

post bug virus security if provide links appreciate knowing send information.

if have had same email address while, spoofing email address. had happen email address had several years, getting messages spam had supposedly sent, though didn't originate system or isp's email system.

Indesign and MathType fonts

i having trouble getting indesign recognize mathtype fonts.  have been told move mathtype fonts on 2 indesign font folder.  copied mt-extra font file mathtype folder , pasted indesign font folder.  nothing changed.  indesign still gives me blank box after copy mt-extra font mathtype -->illustrator-->indesign.   guess need instructions on how transfer of fonts done correctly.  i'v looked @ install fonts manual indesign, not clear me on how it.  need utility fontexplorer this, or there other way.  what's weird working fine until had reinstall osx , reinstall cs3, font trouble started.  need toggle "activate-reactivate' adobe cs3 , don't know how close 20 max on this, worried that.  (i suspect because of note on forum might necessary).  thoughts appreciated. i'm using windows, advice may worth nothing...   1) shouldn't have deactivate id recognize fonts. 2) design science gives fonts away in type 1 , truetype flavors....
