Have Tips On reducing .EXE File Size?

hello,

captivate exe file sizes huge compared comparable exe files produced competitor software. set slide quality low, set swf conversion 16 bit instead of 32 bit, set swf size , quality 50%, , .exe files still huge. in fact, changing these settings made no difference file size.

 

anyone have tips on reducing file size of captivate exes, or know of utility can make .exe files smaller?

huge in eye of holder. how big files? how small want them be? what's pixel-size of project?

 

if use captions, text, , native captivate features, file should pretty lean. ony time see captivate files huge when add audio. can change audio compresion used, have trade off file size , audio quality. changing audio quality have bigger effect changing image compression settings.
