Thread: So maybe this (upgrading) was a bad idea....

so... yeah. decided put on 'big damn hero' hat , venture in wilds of ubuntu. mini9 w/ubuntu has been great past year, b/c haven't tried anything. maybe correct decision.

anyway, seems first step failed. looked how upgrade via usb , according here first step install usb-creator.

got though when did said:

matthew@matthew:~$ sudo apt-get install usb-creator
[sudo] password matthew:
reading package lists... done
building dependency tree
reading state information... done
e: couldn't find package usb-creator

besides thinking computer in first place, did go wrong?

is there reason don't want upgrade within current installation?

if click on system>administration>update manager @ top: "new distribution release '9.10' available"?
