Mux using 4051

hello:

i have 4 or more analog sensors each have outputs ranging +/- 2000mv. presently planning on using 4051 mux.

1. since signal can negative need offset signal positive voltage before sending arduin's ao pin? if so, recos on how? 

2. . since signal can negative need supply 4051 bipolar power supply?

so how powered? have split rail supply? if it. if can connect -ve of supply arduino ground signals positave regard arduino.

however scant on detailes, don't seem know how many sensors have.
what kind of output these sensors produce, ac or dc?
please post link sensors , schematic of how powering them.
