Thread: Register in LAN domain

hi,

have installed ubuntu 9.10 in desktop. have trouble installing stuff because desktop won't resolve internet addresses. computer should registered in office's domain, don't know how. need go through proxy, yet, don't know to set up. nevertheless, can go out internet within browser. needed set proxy preferences.

using net tools, tracing route www.google.com can't go further gateway ip.

question be, need setup update manager , apt-get command find , retrieve packages , files install?

in advance.

tcp client

Can't read sms using Thinker A7 communicate with Arduino
