Dynamic frosted window effect

hi, need have sprite acts blur filter whatever below it... i.e. if square on top of photo, photo blurred underneath square, else. i've seen few examples displayfilters used create ripple or colour effects, none blurred image below.

 

any ideas?

tcp client
