Editing files disappeared!!!!!!

i professional photographer , lost 8 hours of editing work. totally nonplussed. i've used lr since came out , have been using ps years. have latest versions. so, have explanation this??

 

1. took 400 photos @ event.

2. sorted out 174 of them. marked them 5 stars.

3. did basic editing in lr.

4. few photos, editing them pscs4 , using "save" command, saved them "edited" files. files appeared in lr library "edited" psd files, should.

5. generated jpg files out of lr 174 files.

5. did other work , returned lr.

6. edited psd files no longer there , neither star selections. unedited raw files remained.

7. searched main hd , backups. changed files weren't there.

8. checked edited raw files, , none of changes there.

 

i ran file recovery program, diskwarrior , filesalvage. didn't find anything.

 

what can happening? should reinstall 2 programs? help!!!! have deliver photos close of business tomorrow!!!

oh, should know running macpro latest system software , latest lr , pscs4 versions. macpro has 8 gigs of ram.

 

one other thing, when working on these files quick selection tool, display, in moving blocks, sort of shimmer , wave. when stopped using brush, effect stopped. scratch drive empty , sataii drive in internal bay. so, can't space issue.

tcp client

Can't read sms using Thinker A7 communicate with Arduino
