2 arduino motor communication over 150ft of cable

i building rov(remote controlled submarine) , need 2 arduinos communicate on 150ft of cable. 1 arduino on sub , on surface. surface 1 connected 2 joysticks movement (one motors , 1 servos.) , 1 switch lights. somehow send signals these devices sub arduino corresponding action. how this.

serial protocol rs 422? cable carrying data, no power?

tcp client
