Running a program only once per activation

i new programming in general , need simple task. running motor , task run on push of button repeat after pressed again. avoiding user able hold button down , repeat task. thank help. , please simple lingo don't understand many technical terms.

run code if variable set true, set variable false when code finished.
set variable true when button pushed.

tcp client

hi all   does flex 2.0 have html component? render html pages local hard disk , remote server. how achieve in flex 2.0?   thanks in advance...   regards prashanth i believe can air application, "uses open source webkit engine".  did come across component:   html component but not sure if available flex builder 2.0.  have price tag.
