Thread: Screen Brightness changes to brighter after idle

i'm using asus u81, running karmic. while running on battery, try set screen brightness low possible, after while of idle (exact time seems change) screen brightness jumps up, higher before. have power saving settings turned high possible. know going on?

i'm having same issue on lucid, , honest, it's pushing me more towards arch every day. know it's kind of stupid "user-friendly" feature falling apart causing this.

tcp client

Can't read sms using Thinker A7 communicate with Arduino
