Does Norton 360 Interfere with CS program performance?

i installed norton 360 (i don't know better when comes security sw buy). can turn off when using adobe cs or lurking somewhere , potentially causing problems? "silent mode" unobtrusive enough when running cs programs or need disable norton, , if so, how?

tcp client
