Thread: Desktop goes missing at random, reappears at random?

i've done searching on problem , i've encountered few similar stories, nothing had sort of resolution use, here is:

@ seemingly random times when log in, desktop not show. can see top , bottom panels, , between black. no wallpaper, no icons. panels transparent , can see strip of wallpaper through it, that's it.

stay until @ other seemingly random point, i'll log in , fine. wallpaper , icons in full glory.

i've no clue why occurring or may it.

noticed during times of "desktop excommunication" can't view video. movie player play file , can hear audio, nothing else.

ideas?

i've experienced , logout , login , well. however, in conjunction issue prompted me change window manager. anyhow, see this link @ bugs.launchpad.net
