apm usb telemtry radio to wifi bridge

i want connect pixhawk equipped drone android phone using apm telemetry radio rather  direct wifi.

this because of range issues. have 1 drone direct wifi mavlink telemetry , it's flakey @ best whereas radio telemetry more reliable.

so plan have usb radio module, (which connected laptop), connected esp8266 battery powered , placed near controlling drone from. connect esp8266 phones wifi , make udp connection within ground control app. hope esp8266 can pass wifi throughput usb radio module , vice versa if radio connected directly phone. way, phone not have usbotg enabled port.

i found this guide online uses airborne radio rather usb equipped radio conversion have 1 pair of radios , want use usb equipped radio on esp8266.

i have no experience esplorer , hoping can via arduino ide.

i have wemos d1 mini on hand along battery shield , plan connect 5v , ground usb plug of radio not sure if tx , rx can connected d+ , d- on usb plug. i'm guessing not.

what best way achieve this.

tcp client

hi all   does flex 2.0 have html component? render html pages local hard disk , remote server. how achieve in flex 2.0?   thanks in advance...   regards prashanth i believe can air application, "uses open source webkit engine".  did come across component:   html component but not sure if available flex builder 2.0.  have price tag.
