Illustrator files suddenly misbehinving in InDesign

hi

 

a couple days ago indesign (mac cs3) started placing white boxes around of placed .ai logos - 'forgetting' they're vector files transparent backgrounds. these logos i've been using years, know they're not issue. it's not display quality quirk either - it's same deal using typical or high quality. thoughts?

tcp client

Can't read sms using Thinker A7 communicate with Arduino
