Arduino 101 won't run the blink example

i encountering error when try , run blink example through ide. have arduino 101 board , have updated everything. running on fedora 25. on windows partition gives me same message. error message encountering
starting download script...
flashing taking longer expected
try pressing master_reset button
error: timed out waiting arduino 101 on /dev/ttyacm0
error: timed out waiting arduino 101 on /dev/ttyacm0
 

i'm not linux user, linux "see" com port?    ide "pointed to" correct com port? ide configured 101?

tcp client

hi all   does flex 2.0 have html component? render html pages local hard disk , remote server. how achieve in flex 2.0?   thanks in advance...   regards prashanth i believe can air application, "uses open source webkit engine".  did come across component:   html component but not sure if available flex builder 2.0.  have price tag.
