Multiple sites - one codebase, multiple databases - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

i'm setting multiple joomla sites each having own database. apart contents same i'd prefer share same codebase (php/css files). make maintenance easier since number of sites may in 100:s. also, i'd of contents shared among databases, example if make entry using specific category posted on sites (other categories posts locally). goes both normal entries extentions marketplace classified ads. i've searched found stuff "multiple sites using 1 database" kind of opposite need.
how can achieve this?

the best way achieve you're seeking through rss , feedgator/sydigator. "master" site category publish content in conventional way, lus put out "private" feed (same other feed except not button public click on. other sites have feedgator/sydigator pulling content in , publishing apropriate category. updating feedgator/sydigator chron-job.
