i have 2 computers connected router can go onto internet. nothing unusual there i'm guessing many on here have same sort of setup, or there abouts. 1 desktop computer runs windows 7 while other laptop dual boots vista , ubuntu. when boot computers vista , windows 7, both computers can see eachother , can freely listen music, movies , swap files each computer. unfortunately can not same when boot laptop ubuntu. when laptop booted ubuntu can see windows 7 desktop on ubuntu laptop icon, that's it. once try click on icon of windows computer keep being asked password. problem there no password use. in windows, disable feature. know must ubuntu laptop can see windows computer , let me watch movies , music computer? or advice appreciated. if password in fact blank on windows, should able put in username (the 1 of windows user) , hit enter (with blank password). ...

i use either google-chrome beta (.deb downloaded google) or chromium-browser (from daily ppa) on number of different machines, both @ home , @ work. in 1 case, chrome/chromium works fine. exception on primary desktop pc @ home. machine core 2 quad w/4gb ram, running 64-bit version on k/ubuntu 9.10. on machine, unable run either chome/chromium, @ least when using kde. browser starts up, when select page load, acts trying, appears time-out. (i 'aw snap' message.) if close browser, notice 'ps aux' shows several processes related chrome remain running, , have manually killed. confusing thing is, if log out of kde session, start gnome session, chrome seems work fine. has else experienced this? suggestions issue may be? should mention, in looking this, did set particular desktop start using google's dns service. didn't seem have effect on anything. have poked around through forums, have not seen threads dealing kind of issue...

cold help? have installed ok when go switch ftp mode asked login joomla! admin again. if login goes round loop. suspect in database wrong. can or tell me how joomlaxplorer (6.1.2 works when going ftp)? ps have tried version 2 extplorer sais incompatible 1.0.13 , asks if have done hot fix - whatver is! still doesn't work whatever i'm sticking 6.1.2 now. hi, go 1.0 upgrade forum. find sticky post there including fix need. i'm sure if apply that, joomlaxplorer work.
