i have mega 2560 ramps 1.4 , 4 steppers ( similar setup to, not 3d printer ) , 4x20 lcd screen connected ramps board. the psu ( 12v 18a ) directly drives 12v dc motor remote control offroad truck ( 5000 rpm low speed, high torque, brushed motor ). am getting scrambled screen on lcd, , suspect caused motor, wondering if 12v motor should have flyback diode ? motor in setup thing different 3d printer uses other same parts. i have 1n4007 diode, , larger mbr340. either of these suitable ? try 1n4007. btw, have fuse in circuit large currents flowing. . created watermark on pdf using office vista computer acrobat 8.  after creating , inserting text watermark, on screen images of pages show watermark correctly , watermarked pages print correctly.   on same office pc, using reader 8, on screen image fine , pages print correctly.   when viewing watermarked pdf on home office vista computer using reader 7, on screen images show watermarked pages correctly; however, when printing pages watermark word copy prints rectangular, solid white box around it, hides document text behind it.  in other words, resulting printout looks there white card on top of document text , transparent watermark on top of card.   i have 1 laser , 2 ink jet printers hooked home office computer reader 7 on it, , of them print pages incorrectly.   is printing issue tied problem reader 7 (vs. reader 8 or acrobat 8), or else?  in advance insight.   rick More discussions in Acrobat Reader adobe

i'm working premiere pro cs3 project who's media files offline.   i have sequence 5 second clip on it. clip offline - main clip ran 20 minutes - want grab 5 seconds i'm using on timeline. tried double click on clip in timeline shows me master clips timecode in out (the full 20 minutes).   when clip offline, there way determine in , out points (the timecode) of clip that's on sequence without having recapture whole clip?   -charley one other thing wanted mention. tried using project manger trim project down , worked.   however when tried recapture clips offline, appears trimmed project timecodes off , while doing batch capture premiere capturing wrong parts of tape.   does trimming project change timecodes?   -charley More discussions in Premiere Pro CC adobe

so i've read through couple of sites , recommend 12v 2a power supply. (dc input) my power supply 12v 5a power supply though. i can't figure out why led strip isn't drawing more current. i'm driving strip of ws2812 leds (5m @96/m, 480 leds) teensy 3.1. short data wire, 3.3v output drives leds fine. i've tested teensylcs 5v output on pin 17 same results. the leds powered 30a 5v dc-dc converter 12v , fed 2 10 gauge wires run parallel strip , feed power @ each end , every meter along way. lowest voltage @ led @ far end @ 4.6v. at full power strip draws 16a @ 5v (16a/480leds =  33ma ea). it should drawing @ least 21 (45ma each based on testing) , based on ws2812 spec (60ma max per led; 28a) in setup, have fastled.setcorrection(0xffffff); when select white , brightness set. fastled.settemperature(0xffffff); fastled.setbrightness(255); set leds white fill_solid(leds, 480, 0xffffff) then of course... fastled.show(); i'm not using of power limiting functions of fastled. why these leds drawing 33ma each instead of 50-55ma i've read about? is there odd setting fastled has pulling b...

i installed ubuntu 9.10 64bit edition on gateway lt3117u. works great except when suspend, hibernate, or shutdown after bringing system mouse seems move randomly across screen @ incredibly high sensitivity. mouse moves when use touch pad it's uncontrollable , clicks randomly. when resumes desktop seems open multiple copies of recycle bin. i've tried using usb mouse , works fine, i'd actual fix opposed work around. doesn't matter how many times reboot system problem persists. way i've found fix boot windows xp partition , reboot ubuntu again. appreciated. i got same laptop , same problem , same work-around. mine loaded kubuntu karmic. put in 4gb of ram in it. worse: lappy feels more sluggish dell mini 9. hi, i installed joomla on local server , works fine. the thing not sure if joomla looking for  am looking system allow registered users (authors or editors) post news uploading attachments (ms word, excel sheet, pdf files). , allow unregistered users download them clicking on link (link local file or internet address). how can done? this has not problem. there several components allows let editors , publishers @ front-end of joomla inserting news. there component named: "jce pro" editors , publishers can upload files.  normal visitors can download these docs. jce pro costs 15 dollar ... it's must have one.. hi,   i bunch of edits on picture a.  then, go picture b , edits.  then, when go picture , decide change it, don't see option undo edits more.  thought in "history" section in develop menu.  shows every single thing did picture.  but, when try delete (by selecting , hitting delete key) part of history, nothing happens.  doing wrong?  i've been having reset whole picture because can't figure out how undo of edits (and when deselect off of picture , come later - know undo option).  thanks! you can't delete step in history panel. if select previous state perform adjustment on image, states above in list (i.e., recent changes) discarded , replaced adjustment made.   there's lots more history stuff. if haven't done so, review lr pdf document, “managing image history , snapshots” on page 114. the situation: we have cat on medications , cat consumes medicated food strings nerf bullets. currently, have side table boxed in microchip controlled pet flap allows access cat requiring medication. trying modify flap move , down (both directions - in , out) without dragging on cat's , slamming shut. the plan: use cable or rope or string (etc.) , pulleys raise , lower flap motors. ultimately, when cat pushes on flap, raise, in direction she's pushing, it's vertical position horizontal position (90 degrees); remain in position specified amount of time, lower original position until push on flap starts process again. questions / concerns: is feasible? thought of using arduino uno motor shield, overkill? recommended motors? i've put couple different prototypes cardboard, string , pulleys; i'm stuck on capabilities of motors , programming. after scouring internet , finding bits , pieces of dream, i'm unsure if putting pieces going create havoc. questions,...

hi!   when turn on/off ink in output preview, window become active , can't scroll document keys "page up", "page down".   how solve problem? you'll need make document window active again. once you've done that, you'll able navigate thru document (and display plate, or plates, set in output preview).
